The opposite side of Failure is Success!

Compared to success, failure is much more frequent. As such, we ought to take our lessons to heart and move on rather than whining about our mistakes. Our only task after failing is to make sure we don't make the same error twice.

Thomas Alva Edison's life served as an example of this mindset. It took him four thousand attempts to succeed in his objective of inventing the electric light during that period. A journalist asked him, "Mr. Edison, do you not regret that you are continuously failing in your attempts?" after he had failed 3999 times.

"I did not fail 3999 times; I simply eliminated the 3999 ways in which an electric bulb cannot be made," he retorted firmly.

It doesn't hurt us as long as we learn from our mistakes. Although it may seem unlikely, successful people experience failures just as frequently as unsuccessful people do. The main distinction is that they continue to advance toward development by making improvements.

Success, then, always lies on the other side of failure. Even though all successful people have experienced numerous failures along the way, they never view themselves as failures. In his childhood report card, Albert Einstein's instructor stated, 'he will never be able to do anything in life.' On the other hand, Einstein bestowed upon modern science the renowned Theory of Relativity. The renowned poet and saint Meera Bai was forced to give up her Chittorgarh palace because her relatives had mistreated her so severely even though she was a queen. However, she turned her misfortune into a chance to live in Vrindavan and gain spiritual wealth. Thus, rather of letting their struggles depress them, each of these remarkable individuals used them as a chance for personal development and inspiration.

Therefore, ignore the advice you received as a child. Be safe rather than sorry is not a good idea. Naturally, I'm not advocating that you start acting irresponsibly. Being reckless is not the same as purposefully taking risks.

Never forget that sometimes losing happens while you succeed. If you stumble and fall, just get back up and keep going. You find out how far you can go by attempting things.
